Get ready for the season ahead with this four week mountain bike training. This series is virtual so you can do it in the comfort of your home, or take it with you to the gym. We're focusing on building strength, increasing endurance, power, stability, mobility, and speed.
It's that time of year again and I'm here to help you get ready for the season ahead so that you can get out there feeling strong and confident on your mountain bike. It's time to focus on YOU. This series is cross training designed for all levels and is divided into three pillars - STRENGTH, ENDURANCE, and MOBILITY.

Your new best friend!! I'm talking injury resilience and being able to bounce back quick when you take a spill. Creating more mobility in your body and calming your mind is going to be huge this season. Improving muscle recruitment for faster response times and reducing the chance of injury in the long-term. I want you charging and feeling confident to do so because you feel limber and stable.
We've all been there, yeah? Out of breath as we're climbing the steepest hill in (what we think in the moment) HISTORY!! The endurance portion of this series is going to help you so that you feel ready to take on those steep climbs and ready to charge on the downhill without being out of breath and needing to stop for a break as often. Building up that capacity is going to be a game changer for you on your bike.
We're talking head to toe strength. Think about it - when you're on your bike climbing, your legs are in a split stance position and your upper body is in a pushing position holding you against the handlebars. In the downhill position we've got even more coming into play - hinging, squatting, pushing, core engaged, it's a full body sport and we're getting into ALL of it in this series. You'll leave feeling stronger and more confident.

I'm so excited to be your coach through these four weeks! I have been teaching yoga, strength, and HIIT classes for going on seven years now. I am confident in my knowledge of our bodies on mountain bikes and what they need in order to perform at their peak. I want you to feel your best, strongest, and most confident self when you get on your bike this season. I am here to guide you through it all.

This training is designed around and rooted in mountain biking, but that's not to say you're not going to see results if you're looking to get all around ready for the season ahead, because you definitely will. Whether you're a biker, hiker, kayaker, outdoor enthusiast, you will feel and see the benefits of this training.

Yes! Whether you're new to mountain biking or an experienced rider, this training is going to benefit you with getting you stronger, increasing your endurance, building power and stability, and injury prevention. Classes can be modified if needs be.
You're going to need a set of weights and a resistance band. In the videos I range from using 5-10lbs but feel free to go with more or less weight as you feel you need to.
